Fri-05-Aug-16 (23H16) Gerhard le Roux (49) moved to hospital
in a critical condition after being shot twice on a smallholding in the
Paardekraal area of Krugersdorp. Suspects gained entrance to the residence
through a window (GP, West Rand District, Mogale Municipality, Krugersdorp,
Paardekraal, smallholding.

Man shot in the head in vicious robbery
A 49-year-old man was critically injured after he was shot
in the head over the weekend.

A 49-year-old man is in a critical condition after what was
described as a farm attack incident over the weekend.
Gerhard le Roux was shot twice by an unknown suspect at his
plot in Pinehaven at 11pm on 5 August.
The broken window of his bedroom was where the suspect
allegedly gained entry to the property.
“The victim was alone at home and his house was ransacked
but the police could not establish what was stolen during the attack,” Kagiso
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya confirmed.
Le Roux sustained two gunshot wounds, one to the left hand
and one to his head.
Paramedics from Netcare 911 stabilised Le Roux before he was
rushed to Milpark Hospital.
The suspect and his accomplice are still at large and police
are on the manhunt to find the dangerous perpetrators.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter and
are appealing to any member of the public with information to call Krugersdorp
