It's time communities fight back
- Don't come to a dead stop at traffic lights. Plan ahead. Approach slowly so you time your arrival at the intersection with the lights changing to green.
- Carry pepper spray & tazers
- Form community sting operations at known smash & grab hotspots
- Raise community funding for CCTV coverage at known smash & grab hotspots to study the perps MO & patterns which in turn can be used to trap them
- Lock valuables in the boot
- Stay off your cellphone while driving - especially at intersections - Focus on your surroundings
- Practice situational awareness - train your instincts & reactions
